Brian Anthony Cave, 28, who has no fixed address, was arrested for an alleged domestic incident in December 2020 when he brandished a firearm and threatened a woman, though he was released on a $5,000 bond.
In February 2021, he was indicted for the assault, but never appeared in court, prompting a judge to issue a warrant for his arrest, though Cave could not be located.
The investigation led deputies to determine Cave was in the Baltimore area earlier this month and he was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit, according to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office.
Cave was arrested and is being held without bond at the Charles County Detention Center.
